James keeps everything running smoothly at ABS Capital, while also finding time to share expertise with our portfolio company CFOs.
James is responsible for management of many aspects of the business at ABS Capital, including running the finance, accounting, tax, human resources, information systems, and operational functions. James can also represent the company’s interest as an outside investor, looking at both sides of a deal to offer insight and representation from a fiduciary perspective. In addition to over 15 years with ABS, his previous experience with tax planning and other deal-related tax and debt issues contributes to ABS Capital’s successful outcomes.
Before joining ABS Capital in 2003, James was executive vice president and CFO at SITEL Corporation, responsible for the finance, treasury, risk management, accounting, and tax functions. Prior to SITEL, he worked at Alex. Brown and Sons, Incorporated and KPMG.
