John is a Managing General Partner at ABS Capital Partners. His investment interests and experience include health care information technology and health care services companies.

Background
Since joining ABS Capital in 1993, John has been involved in over 20 portfolio company investments for the firm. He has gained significant domain expertise in the health care industry -- investing in the space through periods of dramatic change and regulatory shifts. John has been able to effectively leverage his understanding of the health care sector to help his companies to recruit relevant board members and executives, hone their business models, think about their competitive landscape and ultimately position themselves for an exit.
Prior to joining ABS Capital, John worked in Alex. Brown's Health Care Investment Banking Group where he advised clients on public offerings and M&A strategies.
